Profile360™ Profile Measurement System

Profile360 is an on-line profile measurement system that utilizes Bytewise Profile Sensors to scan the complete outside shape of any continuously moving profile. Profile360 takes a profile scan, matches it to a design template, then displays an optical comparator screen along with key measurement parameters. Profile360 is used on extruder lines as a continuous quality checking tool to assure that key dimensions remain centered and within control limits.

Extruded rubber and plastic profiles and roll-formed metal profiles often vary during a run due to materials and equipment variations. The Profile360 display shows continuous trend graphs with green/yellow/red status indicators that alert the operator when unfavorable process changes occur. This permits the operator to correct unfavorable trends before they result in off-spec extrusions.

The Profile360 Software Suite is complete with data archiving and reporting tools. The Profile360 on-line profile measurement system can be easily networked to factory IT systems.

	Aluminum Measurement System Profile360 is effective at measuring metal extrusions and can accommodate a variety of surface finishes.
	Plastic Measurement System Profile360 can monitor critical parameters such as flatness, squareness, corner angles, radii, and grooved features to improve dimensional uniformity and increase yield rates.
	Rubber Measurement System The Profile360 can have extremely short economic payback in the rubber extrusion industry. Measurements are archived to ensure 100% dimensional verification of parts and greatly reduce customer returns.
	Profile360-150 with Operator's Terminal The Profile360 is available in sizes that will accomodate products up to 150mm in diameter. This industrialized Operator's Terminal is offered as an option for harsh environments and where mobility of system electronics is desireable.
	Profile360 IMP (Industrial Mobility Package) The Profile360 is available in a portable solution that includes the Mounting Cart and "open C-frame" design with an industrial rated touch-screen PC and light stack. The IMP can easily maneuver from one line to another during the extrusion process, and the "open C-frame" design allows for quick positioning without cutting your product. The IMP also gives you the capability to view "Real Time" information via a Wireless LAN.
	Profile360 with Mounting Cart for Laptop Integration The Mounting Cart and "open C-frame" design coupled with a laptop PC offer the utmost in portability to facilitate quick product change-outs and problem part troubleshooting.
